Experience/ Qualification/ Skill: Operates, asphalt, concrete or crushing plant, segregate materials used in construction, moves controls on panel board or control board to heat, dry, and mix ingredients, such as asphalt, sand, stone, to produce asphalt paving materials; to weigh and mix aggregate, cement, and water to produce concrete; or to control feeding, crushing machinery in sand and gravel plant. Observes gauges, dials, and operation of machinery to ensure conformance to processing specifications. May repair machinery, using hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment, aware of safety hazards at plants and the neessary precautions, 5 year experience, fluency in English Language, driving license.

Incinerator Operator

Incinerator Operator - Depends one or more incinerator furnaces that burn refuse, such as sludge, trash, and garbage: Pulls mechanism to release refuse from hopper into incinerator. Moves levers to ignite burners, to adjust blowers and dampers that regulate airflow and temperature, and to control charging, discharging, and quenching mechanisms of furnace. Opens furnace door and agitates burning refuse to facilitate combustion, using stoking hoe. Moves levers to open grate and drop ashes and noncombustible material from furnace at end of burning cycle. Replaces refractory linings of furnace, using firebrick and mortar. Cleans debris from furnace room floor, using rake and broom. May assist Supervisor, Incinerator Plant (sanitary ser.) 955.131-010 in maintenance and repair of cranes, conveyor equipment, and exhaust system, using hand tools.

Slop / Sludge Treatment Plant Operator

Slop / Sludge Treatment Plant Operator in charge a sludge plant with responsibility on for all operations on one shift when foreman is not present (usually at night or on weekends). This includes the pumping stations outside the plant premises. You will determine the seriousness of problems and independently take action to bypass processes and make minor repairs. You will operates and maintain valves, pumps, gates, comminutors and other controls and equipment; collects samples of sewage at prescribed stages in the treatment cycle and makes basic analysis of; temperature, concentration (pH), residual chlorine, settleable solids, dissolved oxygen, biochemical oxygen demand (BOD), determination of suspended solids, total solids, volatile acids, alkalinity, sludge volume index, sludge age, sludge solids, and fecal coliforms. You will also adjust chlorinating and other chemical treating equipment to control physical, chemical and bacteriological characteristics of sewage

Dock Gate In-Charge

Dock Gate In-Charge

Support workers in pumping operations to raise vessel and in positioning, flooding, and pumping caisson (gate) in the dock. Directs workers engaged in cleaning and maintenance of vessel. Oversees flooding operations and removal of vessels from drydock. Carry out general/routine/preventive/breakdown maintenance and repairs of Dock gate and all other connected equipments. Maintain log book for routine, preventive, breakdown maintenance of dock gate operating system. Requires 3 year Polytechnic Diploma in Engineering preferably Mechanical. Requires 5 years or above experience in maintenance and repair of dock gate system in a ship repair yard. Must have a skill to replace/repair/adjust major mechanical/pneumatic/hydraulic parts. Requires a good understanding of general mechanical drawing, mechanical process and sequence drawing. Requires ability to interpret mechanical/electrical and electronic diagram. Good communication and interpersonal skill in English is a must.

PUMP STATION OPERATOR

Qualification: School & Graduation - Others -Diploma (3 years) in electrical discipline 

PRINCIPAL DUTIES: Starting and stopping of main seawater pump, bearing cooling pump, drum screen, wash water pump as per instruction of SCE/CRO. Recording parameters on log sheet and measuring Supply / Supply return/ Return compartment level on hourly basis. EDUCATION: Diploma (3 years) in electrical discipline. EXPERIENCE: Minimum 5 years actual operation experience in onshore pumping / hydro power plants. LANGUAGE REQUIREMENTS: Should be able to understand speak English.
